Denver Doctor

Post by nick2008 » Wed Apr 25, 2018 11:30 am

I'm new to Denver. Can someone recommend a good sleep doctor in Denver? I'm using a bipap not sure that makes any difference. I'm hoping to find someone that ok with me making small changes to my settings.

Thanks

I wouldn't call my doctor a good sleep doctor, but she didn't mind. Actually I don't know that it matters if your doctor minds. I don't know that the can really do much about it... at least if you don't go below the prescription minimum. She works at Clinix. Kelsey Ninow. I honestly wouldn't bother with a sleep doctor if your therapy seems to be effective... and you don't have other non-sleep apnea sleep or breathing disordered problems.
Instead of Sleep apnea it should be called "Sleep deprivation, starving of oxygen, being poisoned by high CO2 levels, damaging the body and brain while it's supposed to be healing so that you constantly get worse and can never get healthy Apnea"

I'd get a new script from my old Dr. and my Records, and forget about a new Sleep Dr until you need one. I'd monitor myself. Jim

It's your therapy...If you think you need a pressure change...make it. If your doctor doesn't agree with you fine tuning your therapy for better results, you don't need that doctor.
