Swift FX earloop keeps loosening at night

Do other people experience this? The earloops of Swift FX nasal pillow mask does not stay where I tighten it to be. My threading is correct as they show in the diagram. The only was I know to keep it there is by tightening it with a string wrapped around the two parts of the loop ends. But then it becomes very difficult to adjust.

Also because of that slip on gray/pink wrap, the end of the loop often gets inside that it is hard to grab and tighten.
