Update: I left the machine in CPAP mode but bumped from 6 up to 7. Next morning the AHI was down to 2 and felt much better, not 100% by any means but better. Next morning (Sunday) AHI 2 and still feel decent. Will go a few more nights at 7 and see what happens. If still good will try 8. So far, so good. Thanks again for all the feedback. Nice to hear from those that have been there, done that! THX

Please accept the fact that the "pros" DO NOT KNOW EVERYTHING.
A truly competent doctor will recognize this, but the others will insist otherwise.
