Are you using xPAP? But even if you are, I do not see where that would cause the pain. Might be a positional sleeping issue. But with the dearth of information, who knows?

lorenadam,

As Jim alludes to above, I experienced this as well for a few weeks after beginning my XPAP therapy. It was always just mild muscle soreness, like you get after increased physical activity or a new exercise when you are not used to doing it. Nothing like pain from an pulled muscle or serious injury, and the soreness went away and never came again. Fortunately, XPAP therapy works very well for me and I have never looked back. May you also have the same success in your journey

John

I had ribcage pain for a week or so after starting CPAP, similar to how it has felt after having a severe cough or pleurisy - tender and/or sore. It self resolved.

Me, too. It went away after a couple of weeks.
