While it looks like a stanadard HP type plug, those all have an insulator section on the end. I could never get these to work in my Resmed machine. What do you mean by has an insulator on the end? It's a straight plug rather than a 90 degree plug, but that should be okay.

Does anyone have an old, non working Resmed s9 power supply that they could cut off the three prong power jack and mail me? (with some wire on it?) That would guarantee a fit.
