Ahi tuna is a marketing term for yellowfin tuna. Some seafood marketing geniuses thought that ahi would sound more palatable (and sexier) than yellowfin. The name comes from the Hawaiian term for yellowfin tuna.

Tuna breathe through gills, so there would not appear to be a problem with apnea until you pull them in the boat.

In any case, tuna are pelagic, so they never sleep.

It is an acronym, the term I had to look up, because my memory sucks.
Ahi is a fish--and a yummy one at that! Even a typo gives me the munchies.

Now can we talk about tasty food?
Did someone say sushi?! I'm down!

I agree, but this is just a day or two friendly reminder to those that haven't really seen the other threads...

If they haven't seen the posts, they are highly lucky. That has been all that's been going on on the forum for weeks. All of you are ruining XXXZX's health, you all are forcing him to become sleep deprived , responding to every post with his drivel. It's hard to be sane, when you are under that kind of pressure.

I can barely keep up reading the same thing over and over. Jim

Click on a users name (xxy...) that will take you to the users porfile .... about half way down on the page is "add friend " and "add foe"
If you're not part of the solution you're just scumming up the bottom of the beaker!
