Hi Pugsy, I still haven't tried the 'For Her' mode on my machine, I bought it after talking to you even though I'm a man - who knows if the optional algorithm wouldn't be beneficial, and the price was the same in the UK as the standard machine.
There are too many variables to accurately compare different algorithms so I haven't tried. Even though I feel my therapy is optimised now, I think my AHI reading depends more on how much I sleep on my back than anything else. On average it's around 1.5 to 2.5 but I get occasional nights where it drops to around 0.3 or increases to 5 or 6. A bit of tolerable Aerophagia which passes after about an hour of waking, I can accept this.
I'm very happy with that and I'm getting good sleep most of the time now, thanks to you and others on this forum helping me to take control of therapy for myself rather than just being 'compliant'.
