I agree with what RobySue said but alien abduction sounds more fun.
The machine got it wrong. It does that sometimes and when it does about all we can do is shrug our shoulders and move on.
I wouldn't worry about it.

There are times when the aliens speak mathematics (like this one).

There are also times when even a mathematician can't make sense of what the aliens did or why they did it.

I really find it hard to believe that this could have happened and I would not have been aware of it. MY AHI is generally below one (it was .84 last night), and I have never seem an obstructive event nearly so long. Also, I do not feel anything out of the ordinary.

Can the CPAP or the Sleepyhead software be wrong? Should I be concerned?

I don't know what the number 224 in the parenthesis for event #3 means, but it is not 224 seconds without air.

From what I can tell, I has snoring event starting at 02:24:11 and had an obstructive event starting at 2:24:53. Given that I have never noticed anything like this previously or subsequently, that I did not feel anything out of the ordinary at the time or the next morning, and that none of the other data seem to be off, my conclusion is that it was errant scoring.

The event time is listed as 2:24. The length of the event is listed as 224. Hmmmm?

Interesting observation! I wonder if this is an SH bug (or a bug in the unit), where one of these numbers got put in the wrong bucket!

You could use Encore Pro and see if it also shows a flagged event at the same time if you want to deal with Encore Pro.
It won't show any numbers like SleepyHead does though. It doesn't flag duration at all.
There used to be a total "time in apnea" report in past versions but I haven't seen it in the newer versions in quite some time.
I haven't used Pro with a DreamStation machine to see if that data point has been put back but I doubt it.

So I don't know if SH misinterpreted something the machine flagged or not. If you want Pro let me know and I can point you to where you can get it.
Windows only though. So if you are using some other operating system you would have to put Pro on it to use Encore.

Pro is a bitch sometimes and it's up to you if you want those headaches or not. I have used it since 2009 and gone through several upgrades and some changes so it's fairly easy for me to manage since I am used to it but it can be a PITA sometimes.
