That is what Bernie's predecessor looked like. She was a true beauty with a marvelous gift of friendship for any human or canine, and even cats (if not too aloof). But who ever met an unfriendly golden? It is a coincidence, but she died precisely three years before the new girl arrived, to the day. I hope Bernie gets the same first class temperament.

Nothing like pictures of babies of any kind...animal or human...to bring a smile to the face and make things just a little nicer for a little while.

PST and Carbonman...beautiful little babies you have there.

We had a Lab Golden mix. The best dog we ever had.
He had a powerfull bark and a sweet personality. Everyone he met fell in love with him. We remember him every time we use his name for a password.

Pics of puppies are NEVER off-topic. This is, after all, the Internet.

PAP topics remind us of how to keep living. Puppy pics remind us of all the reasons that doing so is such a good idea.

Thanks for pics!

Thank you for the cute puppy pix!!! I just lost my 11-year-old Cocker Spaniel to kidney failure 3 weeks ago.

We went up to see Jade this morning. Took her crate up so it can
be w/the litter for a few days and get all the brother and sister
smell on it. There is just no better stress relief than a herd of
puppies....especially when you have had enough, you can leave.
Is there anything more innocent in life than a pile of tuckered out pups?

I can't believe how fast this one is growing. She's learning to be an urban dog, with perfect elevator manners. I love the cute retrievers in this thread. Sorry I didn't mark it as OT to start, but it began with mask chewing. No more of that lately.

No apologies necessary PST for not marking this OT. This is a great thread.

Hidden behind those lovable puppy faces lie
razor sharp puppy teeth. If left unchecked,
they are little distructo machines.......but
a house w/out a dog can never really be a home.

Good luck! to all of us for the next year.
