An apology to everyone.

Post by palerider » Sat Apr 15, 2017 3:01 pm

Recently, I was having a bad day, and grossly overreacted to a post that I felt was a direct attack, saying this:
palerider wrote: I can't stand pompous snotfaces that come in some where and start bitching about it. you're like the assholes that move into a house next to the airport and start complaining about the noise.

if this was the only cpap forum IN THE WORLD, then sure, make it boring pablum for everybody.

BUT IT'S NOT. find a place that fits your sensibilities, or shut up.
that was, well, to put it mildly, completely out of line, and I apologize.

I think that was probably hard for you to do... so good for having done it! Last time I saw something like that here was ... can't remember the decade, but maybe never... so good for you again. It's hard being smart (and impatient) when so many are not!

We all have bad days sometimes.
A little further back I had a stressful day and peoplehere were annoyed. It took a PM from a user to make me step back and stop.
I did not publicly apologize like you. Perhaps I should have.
We all need to keep trying to encourage and help each other. Most medical people seem to be concerned mainly about their personal profit rather than the patient outcome.

I doubt I would still be using CPAP if not for the wisdom of people like you.

Thank you for this. Means a lot that your do recognize that sometimes outside issues effect a response. takes a strong person to say they were wrong. You are to be commended.

Sorry, I was meaning I saw nothing wrong in what he said. I assume it was referring to " I'm sensitive, so lets join hands and sing Kum ba yah" thread. It got up my nose too and I'm a n00b.

Hmm why not apologize in the related thread

We all had a bad day on Wed Dec 16, 2009 when you joined here, so much provocation and attention seeking prevailed on your part, and it still continues. I've said before, you need help.

P.S posts not related to the forum topic are normally prefixed with "OT", its just etiquette, you may have heard of that.

Palerider...I, for one, do not post a lot but visit here quite often because this is the place to get real info and an education on our symptons and agravations....I do appreciate your sincerity (not so common nowadays), but to be honest I do REALLY enjoy your answers no matter how rude other may think they are..I find them funny, to the point and a small toleration for bs. As a matter of fact some times I read really ...foolish(?) post and I know that I can count on you....sorry but I do appreciate a dose of reality now and then....
We are all gown ups, so I think, and PC is getting a bit out of control.....

Thank you

Please take your misguided profanity elsewhere, there are minors seeking help on this forum also.
There is nothing wrong with looking beyond a posters single post, you have a very very short tenure here obviously.

Calm down, that would be nice.

Some have been happy to stand by and see others be insulted and called idiots over a period of time.

President-pretender, J. Biden, said "the DNC has built the largest voter fraud organization in US history". Too bad they didn’t build the smartest voter fraud organization and got caught.
