Fun is fun, but more than a little can be mean.
Yea yea you got me! I haven't seen that one before, very good! I could see where it was heading but just couldn't see through the hoax info which I'd looked up.

I would like to say I've been 'gullible' but that word has been taken out of circulation now, so perhaps a little niave.

Well, you have a sense of humor. And that is more important than occasionally falling for a hoax. Your nasal spray is safe, and all of those saline nasal sprays with preservatives and additives are safe.

I hope my point was illustrated in a humorous way. My point was about this statement:

EVERYTHING is made of chemicals. Every cell in your body is made of chemicals. Even the air coming through your CPAP hose is loaded with chemicals:

Don't be a chemophobe.

Well that's a relief! But it did have me concerned for a little while, I just hope the OP wasn't scared off

Yes it was, I get you now but at first I thought you were some kind of eccentric crank!

Yes, perhaps I should have said "rather than one with nasty chemicals"

Thank you! Lesson learned! Embrace the chemicals!

I was going to suggest making your own but I would use distilled rather than tap water.
I do use distilled water exclusively. We have our own water distller so it's easy.

Like oxygen, too much you get high--not enough and you die . . . (Cue guitar riff)

Check out Ethicare for nasal irrigation instruments that are specially designed to help with this type of thing. Works fantastic with Waterpiks, and more comprehensive than sprays for getting the job done. Also if you have any questions, I called them not too long ago and the guy was very helpful on tips / saline solutions. Turned out he has also suffered with his sinuses for years so can relate to some of these issues.
