AirSense Humidifier
Just got the Resmed AirSense 10 Autoset the other day. You folks that use the humidifier... are you confident of snapping the humidifier in and out (to refill the tub) every day? Looks sorta flimsy snapping it in and out. Think it will break?

Re: AirSense Humidifier
I find that grabbing it by the sides (front and back) and wiggling it out works better than trying to use the textured thumb pull area on the top of the reservoir. Typically I can pull out the reservoir with more control and less force than yanking it out the other way. Snapping it back in doesn't present any problems for me.
Re: AirSense Humidifier
I hold it by the sides and wiggle it out- gently. like the above poster.

Re: AirSense Humidifier
Thanks, I try that. With the S9's you lift the lid to remove the tub. With the AirSense, that snappin' and unsnappin' was a problem with me from the git-go.
Thanks, again

I think is is fine...it seems fairly sturdy to me. The problem I have with it is will often make a clicking noise when I first mask up. The clicks correspond to my inhale and exhale. It will stop when
I fiddle with the humidifier for a bit....kinda annoying though.

I hold the machine firmly down with my left hand, being careful to avoid touching the power button.
I then use my right hand to squeeze the tank and its lid vertically--it slides right out.
After filling, I just slide the tank firmly back in place, allowing it to snap good and solid.

I take my tank out and reinsert it the same as CF does. I have been using it for over a year now without any problems. I have to fill it every night. If I think about it, I even wash it every two or three months.

Re: AirSense Humidifier
I've been using mine over a year and the only thing I notice is If I don't get it in the machine good I get the clicking sound with each breath. I just squeeze it and push it in to make sure it is seated well and the clicking stops.

Re: AirSense Humidifier
I have more trouble opening the thing than I do removing it from the opening. I've only had it a few days though so I'll probably get better at it with practice.

Re: AirSense Humidifier
I use more than one year the humidifier to AIRSENSE 10 and wash and change the water every day. I never had problems with the click of the connection. Sometimes it happens that the tube air outlet doesn't adhere well with the humidifier, and when the pressure rises, it begins to sound like a trumpet ...
The problem is easily solved; just better push the humidifier and everything is ok.
If this thing happens to you, do not be afraid, the AIRSENSE 10 autoset was a great machine.
