Someone (can't recall who) was claiming that Amess was the same person as the person that got banned. When someone is banned from a forum, is the IP for that person blocked so that they are prevented from creating a new identity? Or is it just that their account is deleted (or suspended or whatever)?

I already mentioned this to Pugsy a couple of days ago, but hadn't thought of the possibility of the IP being blocked. Does anyone know how these things work?

Thanks!

Confusing words, Jim.

I believe that giving thanks or keeping quiet may be an either-oar proposition.

I am thankful for so very much.
Experience says it's not likely to last; but I'll happily take the here and now.
I kind of don't believe in jinxes, but is it all right to cover my butt?

I don't believe in jinxes at ALL.

That said, keep it covered, CF. By all means, please keep it covered.

Lol! You guys crack me up.

Someone pm'd me and now I know that the person I was asking about is okay, so I'm going to delete the question as perhaps it might upset her.

Now, for crying out loud: What kind of attitude is THAT for a duke-it-out thread?!!! I mean, if we can't all figure out a way to choose up sides and fight, how are we gonna keep the clicks and ratings up around here? If things can't get a little worse soon, I'm just gonna abandon this thread completely and never come back to it. So there.
