List of CPAP Repair Companies.

Post by WRX03 » Mon Sep 19, 2016 2:03 pm

I get a lot of CPAP repairs questions at work. So I want to make a list of companies that do repairs or has a service department that does repairs. The list all have factory trained repair technicians for their repairs. You may even have a store local you can your machine into. Anyone else know other companies please add them in your replies.

Advans CPAP
Altra Service
Arbuckle Medical Equipment
Cyrogenic Solutions
Incare Medical Euipment
Medi Home Care
Medical Services of America
OxyMed

Remember that the cost of repair should not approach (and certainly not exceed) the cost of a new CPAP. If it does, it's time for a new CPAP! Also, will these companies provide loaners while the repair is underway?

Please do not write again in huge black letters - makes it extremely difficult to read and in computer culture is tantamount to screaming at people. Awful!

Or with random capitalized and oversized first letters of words;
frighteningly reminiscent of illuminated text as executed by a possible psychopath.

I don't know if I'd call LSAT a possible psychopath

I've seen that argument before, but it doesn't actually make any sense.

if one does have vision issues and needs larger print, then one would have to use a larger default font size to be able to read anything at all on the forum...

of course, in the first place, the large font isn't shown in the composition window.

Thanks for the list WRX03. Just curious from the preamble to your post - what kind of work do you do?

As a side note: Our forum sponsor CPAP.com has a great collection of replaceable machine parts in stock... sometimes you just need a new power supply, gasket or an elbow or something.

I like my ResMed AirFit F10 FFM - reasonably low leaks for my ASV therapy. I'm currently using a PR S1 AutoSV 960P Advanced. I also keep a ResMed S9 Adapt as backup. I use a heated Hibernite hose. Still rockin' with Win 7 by using GWX to stop Win 10.

If you have a DME, many of them can get your machine repaired as well. Unfortunately, many mis-interpret the rules and think they can only repair the machines of those who are already patients (i.e. have a current prescription with them). To change settings, yes they do, but you aren't asking them to change the settings, you are asking them to repair the machine!

And you know this isn't true how?
And fwiw the larger font does show up in the preview window. I left the size there for you.

The font size can be set in your computer settings, affecting everything YOU read, no matter who wrote it.
