Resmed air sense 10 or dream station
Hey guys and girls
I can't decide which machine i should get, I like the sleek look of the dream station all though the resmed has strong reviews. Just after people's opinions.
Thanks

Choice may depend on your diagnosis....If you are looking at the ResMed for OSA....You want the Airsense 10 Autoset model.

Checkout the space that you plan to use to place whichever unit you decide on. When I saw them side by side, it was an easy decision. The Dream Station, with the humidifier attached, has a much larger footprint than the Air Sense. I didn't want to give up the nightstand space that the Dream machine would take.

It's for OSA.... On reflection I think both machines are very similar!

I'll look at the features. I believe DreamStation had Bluetooth support whereas Resmed has modem.

Both machines are great machines from great companies. The Airsense has been out a bit longer and if you're using the Autoset mode that's a bit gentler than the Dreamstation. The Dreamstation has a separate humidifier and more flexibility for powering it if you travel. It just is personal preference. Either will get the job done.

that's not correct.Thatgirl wrote:The Dreamstation has... more flexibility for powering it if you travel.
both machines run on 100-240v power, worldwide, so that's the same. for battery power, they both run off 12v, with adapters, one costs more than the other, but you more than make up for that with the resmed coming with a travel case, which is extra with the dreamstation.

neither of which provide more than rudimentary data.m13l1n1 wrote:I'll look at the features. I believe DreamStation had Bluetooth support whereas Resmed has modem.

Re: Resmed air sense 10 or dream station
I am new to CPAP but found the reverse - I found the dreamstation a little gentler to breath on than the airsense 10, probably personal preference, probably best to trial both.Thatgirl wrote:Both machines are great machines from great companies.
