My first 2 nights

Post by Tmommy4 » Thu Mar 10, 2016 6:43 pm

I got the Sleepyhead software downloaded and I took screenshots of my first two nights. I don't think I'm doing too bad? The first night, my pressures were 4-20, the second night I increased my min pressure to 5.

Any feedback? Should I make any changes tonight? Do I need to set up my graphs differently?

One thing I noticed is that the times are about 2 hours off.

Things look pretty good! I personally, based on the graphs, would raise my minimum pressure to 6.5 or 7, but otherwise nothing else.

I'd probably go with 7, just to calm down the pressure swings...

set the clock

Great, I will go and change my minimum pressure to 7. And hope it still likes my SD card! I did make sure with another SD card that my laptop doesn't ignore the lock.

I'll post more results later. My mouth was very dry last night. My humidity is set at the default of 3. I increased it to 4 for tonight, but my water level may have been too low too. I have filled it. Just curious what others have the humidity set at?

I appreciate all the advice I've received!

First, given the data I don't see any need to increase that min pressure.

Some people have trouble breathing at 4-6cm and they're quick to suggest to almost everybody: Increase the pressure.

Some people have no trouble breathing at 4-6cm and they get good therapy at low pressures. Your AHI is excellent and your leaks are good. So if you think you are sleeping well and you are feeling better in the daytime, there's something to be said for leaving the settings alone.

Finally, some people wind up having problems with aerophagia and/or leaks when they increase the minimum pressure. So if you increase the pressure and run into any problems, then lower it back down: Your data says the low minimum pressure is not an issue in terms of efficacy of your data.

Get into the clinical menu and reset the clock.
