If that's the case you access the clinical setup and select CPAP mode then set your pressure. This shows you how to access the clinical setup.http://www.apneaboard.com/pr-system-one ... structions I do have to say I think you are missing an opportunity to try bilevel but if things are going well and you know what you want that's all that matters.

How would I set the bipap to regular autoset mode with the settings of 11 (low setting) and 18 (upper setting)?

Going into the setup menu of that machine, just select Mode: CPAP, and set the pressure to 11.0. It will act exactly as a CPAP without any bilevel or auto function.

For some reason I am unable to find the option just CPAP. The options are BiPAP or auto the CPAP option is not there.

Ok here is where the model number is important. The 760 model has the CPAP mode but if it is the 750 this clinical manual states CPAP mode (if available on your device) so it looks like it doesn't have that mode. http://www.ablecarehealth.com/Equipment ... Manual.pdf I would try the bilevel settings and monitor data.

On the Bilevel setting with the upper and lower set to 11. Wouldn't this be the same as 11 CPAP.

I believe that would simulate CPAP mode. Not sure how it would actually feel like that. I like my lower pressure on exhale because it feels more normal to me.

I am trying to get my bipap to act like an autoset. What would my settings be?

With a bilevel you don't have the single minimum and maximum that an APAP does but you do have the auto bilevel settings what are the pressures that you are using now? with that info I'll let Sleepriler or Palerider give you suggestions.

My settings are 11 (lower setting) with 18 ad the upper. I'm not concerned with the 18. It could be 18, 20 or 22.

What's the median and 95% pressures running? Are you using EPR and at what Setting?

Depending on the machine .... if it allows a PS of 0..I know you can on a aircurve 10 vauto.

I believe if you set PS to 0 and set the min and max to 11 and 18 ... that will get very close to a apap

Now if you want to simulate epr then lower the lower and set the PS to the amount you lowered it.
If you're not part of the solution you're just scumming up the bottom of the beaker!

My 95 % is normally 14, or 15. I am using the S9 autoset until it craters on me. The doctor prescribed me a S9 VPAP in May 2014 due to some lung issues I was having. Since the lung issues cleared up, I used the VPAP in straight cpap mode until my acid reflux took off on me. I switched to the S9 Autoset (mode), and my acid reflux is better and manageable. I want the Doc to prescribe another autoset, but it's too soon. Again, I'm using the old S9 Autoset until it craters. If it does, I want to be able to use the VPAP in the Autoset mode until either I can get the doc to write a script for an autoset or I have to fork over and buy one myself. The VAP has the VPAP Auto mode, the VPAP ST mode and the VPAP S mode(s).

The PS range is from 0 to 10 cm/H2O. So I can set the PS to zero. What about the Ti min, Ti max, Rise time, triggers and cycle? Minimum?

leave them to the default ... they will not do much of anything with the PS at 0
