I have a cm550F 02 meter that works fine for me. My daughter is using it and she has small fingers. She has to tape the finger pad on.
Does antone know if there is a smaller sensor available?
OR
If there is a differnt model that has a smaller sesr.
I did try to google it, and did not find any information on replacement sensors.
Thanks

Re: smaller finger sensor for cm550f
there was allegedly a smaller sensor for the original model ( you didn't say which model you have) but I never found anyone who sold it
there were replaceable sensors for the newer model at one time -not sure if still available
I use the probe on my thumb and use paper first aid tape to tape the wire to the base of my thumb each night - works with either of the models.

I put it on my thumb.
Bigger than the fingers, and it works fine.

Yes there is a pediatric sensor for the CMS50F wrist pulse oximeter.
But it is expensive.
Here is one link.

With this information, perhaps a more extensive web search can lead to a lower price.
Search for "cms50f wrist pulse oximeter pediatric sensor"
Try contacting Cooper Medical and see if they can get you one at a reasonable price.
Otherwise the suggestions of using the thumb instead seems to be the best solution.

Re: smaller finger sensor for cm550f
that pediatric probe is for the older "whitish" face model - not the newer "turquoise" faced model
the probe connections for the two models are not the same

Re: smaller finger sensor for cm550f
Thanks Jules. I didn't notice that important feature.

Re: smaller finger sensor for cm550f
I have had both styles - the firmware and software are different - seen glitches for both - not same glitches
the probe for the newer style (turquoise face) seems to be longer lasting

Re: smaller finger sensor for cm550f
Thanks. I will see if I can find one. I hate to pay as much for the sensor as I did for the whole thing.
But at least I know what to search for.
Thanks
