You are a genius!!!

Just cleaned 2 sets of frames/mesh with my water pic - it cleaned them up in no time at all (also managed to spatter my whole bathroom ) No more air hunger from clogged mesh on my P10's.

No need to buy new whole frames for dirty/clogged mesh - just water pic them! Even if you don't have a water pic buying an inexpensive one will quickly pay for itself.

This forum and the people on it are fabulous!!
Have to give credit where credit due, I got the idea from Chunkyfrog. Maybe I should add " you may need to do this in the shower"!

How old is this frame?
Maybe try the water pik trick using water under pressure from the water pik?

Hello Pugsy; It has more than a year, last month I got a new one from the eBay(33usd) but I would like to use it yet.

I would break out that new one while trying to salvage the old one. I have nearly 2 years on mine and it looks as good as a brand new one so I don't know why yours looks so yucky.
I wash mine about once a month though...did you wash yours regularly?
It appears the vents still have material occluding the holes...maybe try the water pik which forces water under pressure through the holes...or soaking in hot soapy water and then scrubbing with the tooth brush.

It also appears to be in the tubing. How do your filters look and how often are you changing them? I also vote for using the second frame and trying to find out the cause of the black junk that you are breathing. I've used my frame for over a year and it looks new.

I'd really like to see what that mask looks like after a trip through the dishwasher. Don't wash the foam or cloth headgear in the dishwasher.

I would try Efferdent if the irrigator is too expensive for now.
That hose looks scary! I had one that looked like that.
It could NOT be cleaned, so I replaced it. The black went way deep into the plastic.
