Now what's the Canadian government got to do with it, they made money of me, this was obviously a mistake.
What you don't understand is that we see many, many (different) people trying to sell equipment on this forum on a regular basis. Many of them have not registered on the forum and leave out many, many details in their posts. At some point, it gets suspicious.
So, after you've seen as many as we have and looked at it from our perspective, they start looking "fishy" (suspicious), etc.

You are silly. In his OP, he stated,
$6100 Canadian
.
So I assumed he was in Canada even though he did not specify Canada.
And that is why in my note, I said,
... in the U.S.
... in the U.S.
Pay better attention.
So first you lambast me for talking about Canada as you only meant the US, but then in the next statement you go on and say "is standard business law in all modern economies". So were you talking about Canada or not? Which statement should I pay better attention to?
As I mentioned, there are particular rules based on certain provinces in Canada. If the poster is from those certain provinces, the government pays for a significant portion if not all of the XPAP equipment cost, meaning that the government signs off on all prescriptions. If that's the case, you would have to complain against the government, not the company that sold him the product.
Which means your advice could be very, very wrong, and could cost the original poster money for nothing.

I'll get out of the way and let you two fight it out, but first a curiosity question.
Would he have CA$6100 receipts if the government paid for it?

I have $1500+ in receipts for the APAP that I'm currently renting yet I only paid $150 dollars for it. It's just the way it works for many provinces in Canada. When I qualify for a BiPAP/VPAP, they will give me a $2500+ receipt yet only charge me $300-400.

I don't really care what was paid for the machine or who paid for it...all I know is what I can pay for it.
Cold hard facts of life. I hate to be that way but that's just the way it is.
If things go well with this deal....Stormynights will be getting a free S9 Adapt more than slightly used but still with lots of life left in it.
And I will be getting a slightly used S9 Adapt for myself. Both of us will be happy campers.
I may have to RISE but I refuse to SHINE.
If you want to try the Eclipse mask and want a special promo code to get a little off the price...send me a private message.

This machine has been sold...yeah for me.
On it's way as we speak. UPS says 3 days and I am raising my eyebrows on that promise but maybe I will get luck
I will clean up my old Adapt this weekend and get all beautified for sending to Stormy.
I love it when a plan comes together.
Now I do plan on selling one of my 2 backup machines....to help get some of my money back that I paid for this adapt.
Any interest for either PR S1 BiPap Auto model 760 or the BiPap Pro..ASV 960??????
I will sell either...doesn't matter to me...I will make an official for sale post tomorrow...it's late and I am supper tired right now
Any interest...send me a private message and by tomorrow I will settle on a price....or I am open to barter too if you have something else I might want.

Paying it forward and it works out good for you too, Pugsy. Sweet.
I like my ResMed AirFit F10 FFM - reasonably low leaks for my ASV therapy. I'm currently using a PR S1 AutoSV 960P Advanced. I also keep a ResMed S9 Adapt as backup. I use a heated Hibernite hose. Still rockin' with Win 7 by using GWX to stop Win 10.
