Get the exact model number that they have and want to give you.
Guest wrote:"Resmed Airsense 10". He says this model also has user accessible data
This could be the AirSense 10 CPAP which has extremely limited data...as it only gives a generic AHI and nothing else...no leak..no way to know what that AHI is composed of.
The AirSense 10 Elite is a full data machine as is the AirSense 10 AutoSet and/or the AutoSet for Her model.
The one with plain "CPAP" isn't full data because the data is so limited.

Regarding the similar to the 560....get the brand name and model number. They might be talking about the cheap Chinese knock off and it won't work with SleepyHead software and the data is limited.

So, no specific model numbers on either? He should be able to tell you which models they are even if it is supposively a new model which has not been announced yet.

Resmed Airsense 10 comes in 4 models and one is not Data capable.

Why would you wait until September for the "new" model?

I agree, sounds strange. Couldn't get the specific model numbers over the phone, going to have to go in with pen & paper and do it in person.

Picked up the new CPAP today (after asking a dozen questions). The device is a "Philips Respironics Dreamstation" with a manufacture date of June 2015. It doesn't look like there is any information about it online. It does have the ramping, humidifier, heated tube, sleepmapper software, and bluetooth data (with detailed info) features.

Also, AHI during the sleep study was up to 23. My prescribed pressure is 11.

DME said they will not be available until October but they got them early? I agree, it is strange that there is no info on either google nor the philips website.

I couldn't find out anything about the new DreamStation thing either.

I am curious as to what data it does collect and how is it shown/made available to the patient.
Is it hours of use only or something more comprehensive?
Is it auto or fixed cpap only?

So patient zero....it's up to you to clue us in on what this new toy is and what it does.

It is an auto
Data is available via the smartphone app

Don't know about the rest until I use it. This is my first CPAP so I'm expecting it to take a couple of weeks to get used to, if I can manage to get used to it at all.

As you get used to it and figure out the data we would appreciate your letting us know what you find.

In the meantime we can help with mask issues if you have any.

SleepMapper software just covers the very basics though...generic total AHI (no category breakdown) and it tells you how much time your leaks were well controlled..100% means no large leak.

Does it have an SD card or cellular data transmission to the DME?
