Gel mask liners

Post by popcpoo » Sat Jul 11, 2015 10:35 am

Has anyone tried the gel mask liners? I was thinking about trying one, but wanted to see anyone had tried it, and what your experiences were. Here is a link to the products: http://cpapseal.com/CPAP_Gel_Liners.html

Mostly useless. They are heavy and slide around.
You need to get a mask that FITS.
There is no substitute for that.

I got one for evaluation... I used it once and that was difficult. It is not really solid, gooeyish... wasn't quite what I thought it was when it arrived. Kind of hard to describe.

It did provide a good seal even with my mustache and beard, but not easy to use.

Needs to be basically cleaned every time as it will pickup anything and if you take your mask off at night, hard to deal with to get it back on especially in the middle of the night. Would require special handling when you take your mask off rather than just laying it down.

I got one for evaluation. It is like trying to handle stiff jello, that is so sticky. I called it the 'blob". Heavy, Like trying to handle a combination of silly putty, jello, that is super sticky, and it stretches. I never did feel comfortable trying to sleep with it on my face. It almost seem dangerous, like it could get in your mouth and not be able to get it out.

It is like having anything new, it needs time to get used to it but I can't sleep without it.

They've got to be selling them to somebody!
Otherwise they would not exist.
Good to hear they get some repeat business.
