Thank you for the above explanations.

So I have another question.

I see the 38.28% miscellaneous type of periodic breathing, but how can you have miscellaneous type of periodic breathing when

every single one of the apneas is obstructive?

I also wouldn't call them CSR on the basis we have. Can anyone explain why the machine is'nt going higher?

I do this by positioning the cursor over the area I want to zoom in on and click there -- then either click, click, click till you've zoomed in as far as you want, or use the up and down arrows on your keyboard to zoom in and out.

clearyt, by any chance are you a Kaiser patient? Kaiser routinely does the home test and then sends patients home with a machine. Though it's usually a one-week loaner which is then switched out for a permanent machine.

I don't know, maybe the apneas are so frequent that the machine is mistaking sequential obstructives, ... you know more about the algorithms are used in the respironics machines than most. (as indicated by previous posts)

I am so sorry. I am getting lost in the conversation! What can I do that will help you all see what you need to see? I so want to get to the bottom of this and see results from the aggravation of the machine!

No worries, not your fault. I think there's some uncertainty about what to advise at the moment. Stand by, and check your PM from Pugsy.

Meantime -- is the screenshot you posted a good representation of most of your nights on the machine this past year?

And -- do you have a copy of your original sleep study report?

I am thinking that

every single one of the obstructive apneas is central.

What's the chance of uploading the files (SD20 card or SH folder) to dropbox for breath by breath review?

Although it could be that epiglottis thing, but that's quite rare.

I was wondering the same thing and I am going to try to get those files so we can see them.

Thank you. Wow. Under the circumstances we'll do everything we can to get the files to you.

And clearyt, don't do anything to your pressure settings yet. There's some stuff to figure out first. You are now in very good hands.
