Re: POLL: Who Are My Foes?
I'm changing my answer. I have decided to ignore PaleRider. Not blocking him mind you, just not reading a thing he writes as he follows me from one thread to another trying to get my attention.

Morbius, are you bored?
Re: POLL: Who Are My Foes?
+1! Everyone has something valuable to contribute, even if I don't always agree with it all. I have plenty of shortcomings that are brought up to speed by our forum members, especially Morbius and Palerider!

--EDIT:
THE NAMES HAVE BEEN MIXED UP.
THIS POLL IS A JOKE
I do not believe the poll function was intended to permit this sort of abuse.
The entire poll/thread should be deleted. It is a distraction from why we are here.

Morbius... you're hysterical... really... or nutso... not sure which!
I haven't put anyone on my foe list. I mean.. why miss the fun! But, is it okay if I click on a few names anyway?

obviously, you'd only get foe'd by people that can't handle your awesomeness.chunkyfrog wrote:---moi? I am HURT!

Re: POLL: Who Are My Foes?
Don't remember ever "foeing" anyone on here. Maybe because I'm just nosy, or want the option to read or not. And whatever I think about a personality, I want to form that opinion based on their own words, not what others say about them. When I'm not in the mood for the BS, which is often, it's easy enough to just skip the threads or posts. But gotta admit I do miss Dori's leveling influence on here. She didn't hesitate to send the fighters to their corner. Sure hope she's doing ok.

Re: POLL: Who Are My Foes?
I've got some people in a list that I prefer to think of as an "ignore" list. I don't think of them as foes, simply people that have very little to contribute compared to really loving to create chaos, and I enjoyed ignoring them. In particular, there were a couple of people that turned every thread that they touched into anti-Obamacare one, and really didn't add any information that I cared about. And one person that seemed to be here just to dish out personal abuse. They've all gone at this point, but some of them come back occasionally. They weren't put on my list trivially, they really had to do the same annoying (to me) thing over and over.
You may not know it if you've not used this, but posts from folks on that list aren't removed, they are still in the threads, you're asked if you want to read them within the threads that they post to. So if you're up for a little abuse, you can go for it and see what they're saying today.
I could easily be on some lists as well *smile*.
Whatever.

Re: POLL: Who Are My Foes?
YES, several people that I'd rather not read from, but not as "foes" but more as "Ignores" as RodgerSC said. It doesn't stop you from being able to see the posts, they just show up and say you have blocked them, click the link and you can see what they wrote.
None of the poll list are on there but you can guess some that might be.
I spend about 50% of the time using the mobile app to read the forum as opposed to a normal browser but you can't do polls with the mobile app (can't see them) or signatures for that matter.
Oh and if a poster is unregistered, I give them a lot less credibility. Figure if they don't bother to register they most likely don't need to be listened to as closely. Most forums (in fact I cant think of any of the many I do frequent) allow a non-registered user to post. Most unusual. Many are one post wonders or posting to very old threads with no consequences.

Re: POLL: Who Are My Foes?
I gave up putting people on my foe list because if somebody quotes them, you still see it. It's easier to read a thread from start to finish and not have a particular post hidden since you're likely to see it down the road anyway.
Plus if I "foe'd" the people that irritate me, where would I get my daily dose of entertainment?
