Take 15 minutes and review this youtube video it will help you understand what is going on with snoring etc.

This video put the whole thing in perspective for me. It should be required viewing for any one who is new.

I wish you well...

The oximetry report indicates that oxygen desaturations are not a problem. The pulse looks strong and variable, which is good.

I believe you need to adjust the pulse scoring for specific conditions and review the data under those new scoring parameters. The default pulse event scoring is not very meaningful.

Thank you Bill, that video was actually very informative

I think you're right HoseCrusher. The default pulse event definition seems too sensitive, and seems to flag a lot of false positives.

As a test, I recorded my own pulse oximeter readings whilst watching TV for an hour, and I got 17 pulse events so I think the results are misleading. Out of interest, I recorded my own sleep last night (see below). I supposedly have normal sleep, but the software still registers 64 pulse events.

I'm not sure whether the pulse spikes are genuine, or they're inaccurate pulse oximeter readings. I'll do some deeper analysis of the data.

You can eliminate some of the "noise" by adjusting the pulse events settings to a drop of 15 bpm for 30 seconds. You will still have some false positives, but it will knock things down a lot.
