I am not as cynical about my doctors as some people on here are. I have used some that did not seem fully competent and I got rid of them quickly.

Provide me some evidence of doctors that get kickbacks on CPAP machines.

I don't have any evidence of it, but doctors are always being wined and dined by medical companies wanting them to push their products. insert your own reasons why a doctor says "brand x is best and every other brand is crap"

kickbacks, ignorance, some financial interest in the DME that they send patients to...

so, you're saying that the GOOD doctors, and, yes, there are good doctors out there, are artificially restricting their patients options?

that was the original point, if you think back.

unfortunately, we don't get a lot of patients here with GOOD doctors that are EFFECTIVELY managing the patients care, providing them with great options and the best, most thoughtful service.... because those patients don't feel the need to seek out help, since they're already doing great. many folks we get here aren't so lucky.
