Responding to him has become as pathological as his behaviour.

This "Enchanter" guy/girl is a troll, playing a game, many here have taken the bait time and time again. I'll bet his only real health problem is a mental one. Immature jerk is probably squealing with delight at his ability to string so many sincere people along with his nonsense for so long. I can't wait till his big reveal comes and he (hopefully) moves on to other forums to play his game with. His monopolizing this board has gotten old and many deserving people would appreciate just a fraction of the help from the veterans here that this clown has had lavished upon him/her. On most any other forum, he would have been banned Long Ago ! Sorry for my rant.

It would have stopped the first day if he'd been ignored.

No, that's not true. That couldn't be further from the truth and that's only your opinion. I've always been kinda like this. What I'm doing is sharing my thoughts and telling people my experiences and what the doctors say. I haven't even got a CPAP yet. I did my first test and I am still waiting for the time to come to discuss with my doctor.

The tech prob just masked him to get him to shut up. Are we betting if the doc denies OSA is the problem just to get him to leave his staff alone? Any over/under action on how long this trainwreck will continue?

Stay tuned...same Bat time...same Bat channel!

I believe that some here are coming to the opinion that there's one 'truth' inside your head, and another wholly different one outside of it.

Well, that is a lot of posting, Krelvin, perhaps as you say, on the same basic difficulty he’s having. So the guy needs help and is repeatedly crying out for it. If he is obsessive and maybe has other problems including sleep apnea, that’s his condition. I really don’t think it's appropriate to be responding to all that by publicly slamming him. And some of the slams below are very vindictive and hurtful. Why don’t we just cool it and contact him privately?

I'm sorry that I pissed off some people inadvertently. The truth is that I'm just a guy that has been suffering for a long time and I am quite desperate. Maybe the anxiety does contribute to making me desperate. But Tattoolady, you criticized me for not getting help for 10 years. But what you don't understand is that I have been looking for a solution all along for 10 years. I've seen the doctor, I've bought into gimmicks and scams and have lost money, I've been to many different specialists too. But the problem was that nobody could help me because all my tests always looked good. Is this more about making fun of me or actually hoping I get better? Maybe I don't have to write so much, but you don't have to respond back in such a hostile manner so much either. Just saying.

The ONLY thing that i can say is that the tech came in and told me my oxygen levels were going low. That is some major feedback right there. So of course I wanted more answers and got anxious. I have been searching for my problems for 10 years. I knew I had sleep problems. But for a long time, I was also fighting off the psych drugs and just trying to get off the drugs for many years was a struggle in of itself. So I pondered for a long time, tried many things, and finally learned about sleep apnea and the test. So you can't blame me for not getting help for 10 years. I desperately searched the net, traveled many miles, but unfortunately I wasn't looking in the right places. You have no idea what I have been through. So sorry if I asked the same question before.

The tech said I have low oxygen. I mean the more I think about it, the more I realize it HAS to mean something. I don't know if it's apnea or airway resistance, but it has to mean something. Because you don't want low oxygen at night.

Another thing too is I'm sorry for incorrectly describing my symptoms. I wasn't using correct language. But I have followed up with the suggestions. You have to remember, I was gonna skip the test and not even see my doctor. I took your guys suggestions and made the appointment. Then I went to the test. Then I followed up and am going to do another follow up on Friday. So sorry, I don't know what else I can do. I guess at this point its not what can I do, but what I should not do. I'm just a desperate guy that wants to get better. I'm upset that nobody in my family or none of my friends ever suggested sleep apnea. They don't know about it very much. I'm upset that my doctor never asked me to get tested but that's not his fault I guess. So that's why I never got help in 10 years. Not because I didn't want help, but because I was looking in the wrong places and didn't know much about sleep apnea. But the tech told me that more and more people are learning about sleep apnea these days. The treatment is going to become more mainstream. And it should.

Enchanter,

Kudos to you for apologizing but do you understand why you have angered people? For example, Julie rightfully criticized you for not thanking people for their help. You don't seem to understand how frustrating it is to take the time to offer assistance to people only to be responded in a way that comes across as completely invalidating what they said even if that wasn't your intention. So yeah, while I agree that some of the posts are over the top, at the same time, I can understand the frustrations.

Also, while I understand the need to ask questions as a newbie, you don't seem to be paying attention to the answers and keep asking the same ones repeatedly. That can be very frustrating to people who have taken the time to initially respond to what you said.

It is also good that you understand that anxiety is contributing to making you desperate. Now the key for you is to figure out how to prevent that in the future either on your own or with some type of help that has been suggested. Not to sound like a cliche but I am sure you are aware that actions speak louder than words.

As one who also feels that being on psych meds wasted years of my life, I understand your frustration. But at the same time, you have to let go of the past as much as you can and focus on the present. If I remember correctly, you're supposed to call your doctor's office on Friday, right to see what the next step is. That is all you should be worrying about.

Anyway, good luck to you.

if you want to feed into his psychosis, against the advice of practicing mental health professionals, then you go right ahead and privately do so.

and quit offering bad advice for the rest of us, please.

I prefer to accept the advice of the pros.

are people looking for your body?

are you concerned it might get lost?

should we fit a GPS tracker to it? perhaps a fashionable collar, er, I mean, necklace?

And now we pause while the white van pulls up, and the people come out with butterfly nets.
