he said his Dr. told him he needs an Auto, looking like this machine may not work in that case?

No it won't auto adjust but it's better than no machine and while maybe not ideal...it can still deliver effective therapy.

"Beggars can't be choosers."

As Pugsy said, it'll still provide effective therapy.

wolf, I just typed in what the doctors orders were. Wasn't trying to beg your correct it is better than nothing, the other machine I had was years ago and I just haven't removed the info. I'm hoping my Dr is okay with it.

What does the doctor have to do with it?
Your machine broke. This is supposed to be a "like new" (2005 model) that should work fine and provide you air when you sleep. And, it's going to cost you virtually NOTHING. What more can the doctor say? If he wants you to have a different machine, let HIM buy it for you.
Otherwise, you'd better jump on this one with both feet.

Then, if you get back on your feet, you could keep this one for a spare/backup machine in case another one quits.

This will help you, Mike, and if down the road you're not quite as broke as you are now and still looking for improvement, ou can then do the upgrade to an auto.
