Prayer to Saint Peregrine

O great St. Peregrine, you have been called "The Mighty," "The Wonder-Worker," because of the numerous miracles which you have obtained from God for those who have had recourse to you. For so many years you bore in your own flesh this cancerous disease that destroys the very fiber of our being, and who had recourse to the source of all grace when the power of man could do no more. You were favored with the vision of Jesus coming down from His Cross to heal your affliction. Ask of God and Our Lady, the cure of the sick whom we entrust to you, Ms. ChunkyFrog especially please! Saint Peregrine was a member of the Servite's in Italy in the 1200's. He had cancer of the bone but was cured after he saw a vision of Christ on the cross reaching out to touch his limb. He is the patron Saint of cancer patients.

It rained last night. I had to wade to my son's house.
My water line is mid-shin.
Grandkid is still sleeping.
Got to finish packing my stuff today. We leave about five AM tomorrow.

Lots of frog splashing rainwater heading past where I am now and will be in a few hours. You might need to kayak to the hospital, if this keeps up.

Be glad for the rain! We had 6 inches of SNOW . The May tree, which was just starting to blossom, cracked in two and I had to spend an hour chopping branches to be able to get out the back door !
