do "you" need a back up machine ??

Post by grayghost4 » Fri Jan 23, 2015 3:46 pm

Sold !!

I have a phillips DS150 machine with less that 180 hrs . (yes it is a brick) would make a useful backup or travel unit (kinda disposable). Will ship to US address for $50.00 .... or with humidifier for $100 including shipping

If you're not part of the solution you're just scumming up the bottom of the beaker!

Get the Clinicians manual here : http://apneaboard.com/adjust-cpap-press ... tup-manual

You know, this kind of post is unnecessary in a thread where someone is practically giving away something that could help out someone. So why? $50 shipped too rich for your blood? Your halo slipping. No need to snark on this.

What the heck does this mean??? Previous post indicate that people are looking for ways to dry their hose after washing...(although I don't know why). PR was making a logical suggestion.

Even a "brick" can be of use; it can supply therapy in an emergency, or while traveling.
If stolen, little is lost. Hose dryer, yeah, but a life saved kind of trumps a moist hose.

well,of course, just because I suggested it COULD be used as a hose dryer doesn't mean that it's all it's good for!

Sorry, was unaware of back conversation. I appreciate what Grayghost4 has been doing for forum members to round up stray affordable machines. He has helped me personally, and took the original comment at face value. Who'd know?

I think his new hobby is great, myself... and I've tried to help him as much as I could figuring out things about the machines.

but, like lsat said, there have also been a number of people on the forum who've talked about wanting a cheap machine to use for drying their hoses instead of using their main machine for it... so, that's kinda a valid comment too.

Usually it's an empty room when I go, and the echo is deafening. I'll watch for you there. Thanks.

FWIW, $50 is about the cost of a Kegerator tap tower cooler. Just looking for the higher value here.

make sure you're in ##cpaptalk (since it's not an 'official' channel... chanserv is always there, and gray and I are usually there, krelvin's started hanging out, and other couple pop in and out at times.
