Nope?

I thought it was a short sabbatical while she was out of town, later extended after she suffered a cat attack on her computer. Not so?

Hmmm, sounds like a little inside baseball going on here...

she's battling demonic cats who don't want her to be online...

last I talked to her, they'd
eaten her network cables.
pushed her notebook off the desk
and then messed up her router.

I should call to see what's up now...

she'll be back at some point, hopefully soon.

so, I'm talking to Pugsy right now, and she says she HAS gotten all of her computer stuff back together, (as of tuesday).

she's just been enjoying having an excuse to mess with real life for a while, but she has, she hopes, catproofed her stuff, and should be back on, at least briefly. soon.

but she's got a little more living to do before she gets back in here.

she signed off the phone call with "tell everybody I'm ok and i'll be back in the next day or two".

Cats don't have to be walked. That one reason why. They know what a litter box is for, or toilet, if their trained. As long as there's water, dry food, and a clean litter box you can leave them for the weekend. Do that with a dog and you'll find things in unexpected places. In other words - HOUSEBROKEN. Dogs are high maintenance.

PR - Are you sure it's demonic cats, and not a jealous husband who thinks she spends more time with us than him?

I pretty much have to take her at her word

I could her her hubby in the background, and they were getting ready to head out.

he's an OTR trucker so isn't home for days at a time, so I'm pretty sure that's not it

Years ago, when I lived in in Houston, I had a cat that climbed under the hood, one cold night. I started the engine, next morning, heard a squeal, and the cat came dashing out. From then on, though, it always hung the wrong end over the litter box. Changed her name from Fluffy to Stinky.

that's a lucky cat... I've seen that scenario turn out worse for the cat.

Maybe cats are aliens. It would explain a lot.
