Newbie Thank you for the DME heads up

Post by JTPerrrine » Wed Jan 07, 2015 2:10 pm

I just got back from my first meeting with my DME. I left with a new ResMed Airsense 10 Autoset. That would not have happened if without the advice of this forum. Prior to my follow up meeting with my sleep doc, I read on this forum about getting a prescription for a specific machine. My sleep Doc was happy to prescribe the Airsense Autoset. Initially, the DME had ordered me a basic cpap machine with only compliance reporting. The DME guy told me today that he rarely gets to give anybody anything other than a basic unit. So tonight, I enter the world of cpap. With an AHI of 51, I'm hoping to see real improvement. Again, I'm super grateful for collective wisdom found here as I get started.

Download sleepyheads
If you're not part of the solution you're just scumming up the bottom of the beaker!

Get the Clinicians manual here : http://apneaboard.com/adjust-cpap-press ... tup-manual
