Thanks, I will try ResScan on Saturday.Actually I understand....and I will once again point out that your machine does indeed gather at least AHI data (nothing else useful) and you will need ResScan to see the AHI. Sleepyhead can't work with the S9 Escape Auto..no sense in even trying.
Again if you follow the directions here you can get and use ResScan

There's a little video that will also help

Re: SSSSSS
I had an interesting conversation with a coworker a while ago. He was recently diagnosed with sleep apnea, a high AHI. He is very overweight. He uses a full face mask and just told me he feels great. I'm going to give a full mask a try. I just ordered new supplies Monday. Maybe they will let me trade the nasal mask I requested for a full face one.

I can do this trick, somehow with the muscles of my throat, but only while awake.palerider wrote:am I the only one that can open their mouth and stick their tongue out while using a pillow mask and have no air coming out my mouth?Wulfman... wrote:You need to keep your mouth SHUT to keep it from leaking out. The pressures you're using are practically nothing.Noctuary wrote:I kept being awoken last night by a hissing sound. Everytime I went back to sleep it would start again. I am a nose breather, but why is air forcing itself out of my closed mouth? I recently upped my low end pressure from 5 to 7; should I take it back down?
Since you have nothing in your profile, we don't know if your machine is an Auto and you're using a range of pressures or what kind of mask you're using.......or anything else. It's hard to "guess" at what answer may help.
You mention your "low end pressure" but what's the maximum pressure? What do your software reports show?

Re: SSSSSS
Its almost daylight and I still haven't slept. Everytime I drift off I am awoken by a weird sound coming from my mask; a buzzing sound. I noticed this a couple of times earlier in the week, but tonight it has happened repeatedly.
What the hell is that? Is it my breathing changing when I start to fall asleep?
edit-
I eventually fell asleep, and was awoken several times by a weird sound, this time from the sides of my mouth. Even with my tongue positioned as some have suggested, air is determined to squeeze out. I'm going to try tape sometime this weekend; if that doesn't work then its a full mask.
