Re: Day Light Savings Time
In the manual to my machine, there is a warning to only set the time before setting up for the patient.
I wonder if those rascals programmed it to clear usage when you reset the clock. ???
Maybe I'll just leave it alone. Since I'm retired, it doesn't really matter.

Some of us need all the help we can get. Jokes aside, you really don't even need to remember that as just follow the lead of the computer and cell phone and change the other clocks accordingly.friar wrote:Useless but smart, how to change clocks for DST.

Re: Day Light Savings Time
I was grumbling to myself about having to wear a winter coat yesterday when it was "only" 50 degrees and windy. I am sure folks on this list who have had experience with severe temperatures must think I am a bleeping wimp.Krelvin wrote:Or, move to Arizona where we don't play with or clocks... I spent half an hour last night, re-setting all the clocks. Wife told me what a nice job I had done.... But went the wrong way.
Silly me.

Thursday morning there was a quarter inch of ice in the rain barrel.
Winter is coming, correction, it's here.

Re: Day Light Savings Time
It has been here a while - we had snow in September. The leaves are all long gone. The air conditioner is tucked into its warm coat, the snow blower brought to the front of the garage. Boots have replaced the sandals ..... Winter tires are booked.chunkyfrog wrote:Thursday morning there was a quarter inch of ice in the rain barrel.

But OMG it was so nice to sleep that extra hour this morning.

I used to wonder why that was... and then I realized that life in Arizona in the summer pretty much consists of waiting for the sun to go down so you can go outside.Krelvin wrote:chunkyfrog wrote: Or, move to Arizona where we don't play with or clocks... MST all the time.
