Some of the windows were surplus, bought as architectural salvage.
The rest were on sale at Menards.
We don't do fancy pants--just pants.

I had the same problem for 2 months. I solved my problem by changing the humidifier to the new Dishwasher Safe tank

I recommend trying it. It solved my problem completely

So switching from the regular tank to the dishwasher safe tank made the machine's whistling (or whatever you want to call that noise) quieter? Hmm, it's worth a shot!

I have used AirSense 10 for three months now and have never heard one bit of machine noise.

I have used the new humidifier chamber for 3 nights and the noise/whistle completely gone.
The machine is completely silent
I think you should give it a shot too

Sorry to resurrect this, but I know exactly this sound. I can only hear it when my room is silent and my ear is pointing directly at the machine. If I turn to face it, I can no longer hear it. However, I do sleep with white noise, so this is only noticeable when I'm awake. I can't imagine being able to hear it through good earplugs, though.
