Yes! I lowered the humidity down to 2 and I'm much better. I think if I need an occasional saline spray I'll be fine. My next hurdle is once the weather here gets cold and the heat (very dry) is on even with a room humidifier. Steve

I have severe allergies. It doesn't matter what the humidity is set at for me I'm always congested. Have you consisted see an allergy doctor

I have seen allergists in the past. Quite frankly, the Zyrtec seems to help me pretty well. I breathe pretty freely and now that I have lowered the humidity on my machine I feel much better.

+1 from me regarding the nasal saline rinses. I find they are especially helpful when allergies first seem to be taking hold. Its the sort of thing that is good to have on hand before it is actually needed. NeilMed is one brand. - Kennerly
