Find them at:

They are so effective in trapping moisture all night that I had to use a hand held paper punch to put two holes at the outer extremes of the silicone shields just to vent excess moisture! As a bonus you can't see any light thru them. They can take several days to get used to. They seem to last about a year if you don't toss and turn alot.

A few questions about that eye shield.

Won't punching holes in it defeat the purpose of blocking out the air from the cpap?

If it gets dirty, can you wash it in water or would that ruin them?

Thanks!

I had the same problem as you. I solved it by purchasing a 2" wide elastic headband ( found in the grocery store or any drug store, usually packaged in 3's, and cheap) and placing it over my head and nose (think Indian, only lower). Keep the bottom edge of the headband edge at the bottom of the nasal pillows so that the pillows and the tip of your nose are underneath the headband. This stabilizes the pillows in your nares, even if you toss and turn on your pillow. This has eliminated the pillow leaks altogether, especially in the eyes. Hope this helps!
I agree with the headband idea. I use one and it works well. I have had the same problem as you, with only very few leaks but any leaks seam to affect my eyes. I suggest you try a headband, it doesn't need to be very tight. It is very helpful to me.

I don't think those holes would impact the seal at the inner corners of your eyes, though I suppose you could punch holes in the top part of the lenses instead. And as for cleaning, I'd ask Onyx about that (and they may come with a little manual of course).

Hi M'ohms,

He hasn't posted in over a year, so unlikely to ever have seen your notes.

I'm still waiting on my mask to be returned. Your picture is on my to-do list as soon as I get it back. Sorry for the delay!

I do experience air coming out my nasal lacrimal ducts just from a nasal or FF mask. When I get into bed after getting all equipped and the air starts blowing into mask, I feel slight popping in the inside corners of my eyes. It is a bit irritating but seems to stop after "something equilizes". I also get puffs of air out my nasal lacrimal ducts when I blow my nose. So I know it is air from nose up through the tear ducts.
