It looks to me that you need to fix your leaks. Once the leaks are fixed, I would try a straight pressure of 13. The higher pressure may get rid of most/all of those snores. It looks to me that the machine is chasing snores, you snore-pressure goes up-you leak more and snore more-the pressure goes up, etc. Your AHI is good, but snores could mess you up. Your chart for straight pressure of 12 looked much better, but I think a pressure increase might help even more.

I'm far from an expert! I was looking at your data though and, from my experience, I would say that you could try auto with a narrower range. I would say 11 cm-14 cm or even 12 cm-14 cm.

Another possibility, that I thought of as well as bdp522, is straight cpap at 13 cm.

You do have a "not so good" leak rate. It may be from your VS.

People with lots more experience will come along I'm sure but those are my thoughts.

If that were my data, I'd continue working on reducing the leak rate.

If I were going to continue using auto mode, I'd set the machine this way:
min pressure 13 or 14
max pressure 20

If I were going to use straight CPAP mode, I'd set the pressure at 14 or 15.

But I'm no doctor. That's just what I'd do if it were me.

I agree with Brenda. Pressure ranges don't seem to be your "cup of tea", either. On the night of the 17th, you were doing real well at 12 cm. for the first half of the night. I'm guessing that the latter part when you started leaking and having events might be related to sleeping position and/or to sleep stages. But, your leaking at around the fourth hour didn't affect your therapy like Auto mode would have.

You need to make only one change at a time and then give that change a few nights to a week before making another. You may find that you have a bad night here or there, but you need to stick with it for a few nights(a week is better) to see if your body will adjust to the change made. I believe that changing something for just one night only makes things worse. It seems to confuse the body and makes all of this harder.
Leaks will ruin anything you try. Get the leaks under control, THEN try a pressure change. Pick a range or a set pressure but then stick to it!

If you have someone available ask them to look at you when you are sleeping and especially when you snore. If you are mouth breathing which I bet you are you need to eliminate it before the cpap will work. Then I would set my pressures like rested gal recommended and check your reports and see how you feel to see if additional adjustments are needed.

Maybe in the subject line instead of 'link to sleep study and encore reports' you should have put 'ping Snoredog and SAG and SWS' .
It is cool,I can go it alone
You got responses from Rested Gal, Wulfman, and Hawthorne - three very experienced and knowledgeable people.

This is a Forum, no one HAS to read or answer any post, maybe they chose not to read or not to answer this one. Very few read every post every day, maybe they missed it.
RUDE...
So far you are the only one being rude.

And? ....this forum is about people helping each other out. You got some excellent responses that address what it was you put out there.

But there is no requirement for participation or response from anyone. Personally, I like reading the responses of those here who have more experience...aand they don't always agree. But I have learned a lot from reading their discussions at any level, whether it is helping a newbie or someone who has been around and run into a snag. Lots of people stick around to share what they know. They sure don't have to. I imagine they do get something out of it. I hope they do and a gracious thank you can go a long way.

I think people responded to you in that same light. I hope you pay it forward as well when you have experience and knowledge to share.

and I also hope people will just let this thread end.....there is no need to feed it....
