Hi guys and gals,
I know we don't have many PR System One 60 series BiPap users here. That model hasn't been released that long.
If you have a 60 series BiPap model 660 or 760 machine have you tried Sleepyhead with the new 60 series patch?
Patch for SH available and talked about here.
viewtopic/t83551/SleepyHead-Series-60-Patch-Avail.html
If you have a 60 series BiPap and have used the patched SH are the SH reports pretty much like what you see with your Encore software?
If you have a 60 series BiPap and haven't tried SleepyHead with the patch for 60 series machines would you be so kind as to give it a try and check to see if SH and Encore are close?
I have seen one patched SleepyHead report from a PR S1 Bipap user (model 760) and the SleepyHead data is so far off we can't let it slide. We need to know if this is an isolated case or if there is a problem with the patch and the 60 series BiPaps only.
It appears that the 50 series machines are fine with the patched SH (I have a 750 machine and my reports are fine)
and it appears that 60 series CPAP/APAP machine reports are fine.
Need guinea pigs that are using PR S1 60 series BiPaps to test the SH patch for 60 series.
Thanks

Pugsy, you have made my day. I think I have a machine that will help answer your question. I want very much to obtain data and to understand it. I am a retired hospice nurse and am in NO hurry to need the services of my former colleagues.
I am not clever about getting the software I need and may frustrate you with my questions. I feel downright stupid sometimes-- especially when my 4.5 yrs old twin grandkids pick up my iPad and automatically (as if internally programmed) start doing whatever. Shortly I will post as much info re. my machine as I can gather. I have a MacBook with Mountain lion and access to my husband's PC with Windows XP so I con load to either or both. I hope this will help you. I'm sure it will help me.
Thanks, Piglet

That's exactly what I needed to see. Thank you for taking the time to install SleepyHead and the patch.LaurieRenz wrote:Hope this is what you need Pugsy... if not, just let me know
SleepyHead is showing 100 plus AHI and nothing else. It's obvious that the patch to get BiPap 60 series data isn't complete.
Nor is it accurate on the AHI.
I am thinking that PR S1 60 series BiPap users aren't going to be able to use SleeyHead yet.
The patch only seems to work for the cpap/apap machines and not the BiPap machines.
Your data confirms the other person's data that I saw.
I think the person who built the patch only had the 60 series cpap/apap machine data to build his patch from.
Apparently the 60 series BiPap machines have additional file structures that will need to be sorted out before we can offer SH to 60 series BiPap users.

I am so relieved to see this and I appreciate that someone took the time to do it. It makes me feel so much better to know that my AHI is not 67.52 LOL!!!

Im not sure how to add an image to this post, but I have the same problem. A System One, in SleepyHead it says:
System One RemStar BiPAP Auto with Bi-Flex (760P) - SleepyHead 0.9.2 with the patch. The AHI is waaaaay off, like 91.5 off. Reading the machine's LCD screen shows an AHI of 1.6.
If you tell me what else you'd like I can try to get that to you.

Thank you for offering but I think we have it covered for right now.slepr wrote: System One RemStar BiPAP Auto with Bi-Flex (760P) - SleepyHead 0.9.2 with the patch. The AHI is waaaaay off, like 91.5 off. Reading the machine's LCD screen shows an AHI of 1.6.

No need to get anything to me. We had some confirmations of this problem after a posted this request. It is a problem with the 60 series BiPaps. Apparently the file structure is different. I think that the guys that know how to decode the issues probably have enough BiPap files to work through and try to fix the issues. I myself don't have a clue where to start and the only thing I would do is forward the files on to them. I am sure if they need additional files someone will speak up and then we can send them additional data.
You can use EncoreBasic though. Uncle Bob has information on how to get it in his signature line if you don't already have it.

I don't know when the 60 series BiPaps will work with SleepyHead.
