Hello

Post by Shadow2 » Fri Nov 02, 2012 1:53 am

Hello everyone, first time poster here, from Australia, but I have been navigating your forums for a few months now, and have finally decided to say Hello, and thankyou so much for making this life changing journey a little easier. I have been on CPAP for about 5 months now, after going to have a sleep study done in a Hospital, and them telling me I have severe OSA, i also have to have O2 with my CPAP as i was still desating with the machine. My specialist still isnt happy so at the end of the month I have to go back to hospital for another study and maybe a change of machine. Nervous about that. Anyway wanted to say Hi, and have learnt so much reading your posts...

Giving your post a bump so others will see it. Welcome, I've also been on CPAP for 5 months. I understand your nervousness about whatever is coming up with the next sleep study, but it's actually good that you've got a doctor who's paying attention and trying to optimize your treatment. I hope you'll let us know how it's going. What has happened with your AHI since you started on CPAP?

Welcome Shadow2! Like you, I'm new to this forum too. It's a learning process but you'll find a lot of very kind and helpful people here. Don't hesitate to ask when you are unsure about your therapy.

Melbourne Cup weekend and hope you pick a winner!
