Cflex vs Cflex+

Post by hrc54 » Mon Oct 01, 2012 9:55 pm

Hi-

This has probably been covered but, what is the difference between Cflex & Cflex+? From what I've read Cflex+ provides a more
comfortable transition between the inhale & exhale. If so, given the choice on the Phillips' Cpaps why would anybody choose Cflex over Cflex+?

Thanks-Bob

They both have a different waveform, with CFlex having a simpler one. There are diagrams in the provider's manual and online.

As for why both, not everyone prefers how CFlex+ feels. I've tried both, and have slept with both, and I find that CFlex+ tends to feel like it's cutting in too soon, like my air supply is going away while I'm still inhaling.

Flex, CFlex, CFlex+, AFlex, EPR, etc. are definitely trial and error type things. Or like finding which shoe fits you best. Only trying them can tell what feels best for you. One man's meat is another man's poison.
