@MaxDarkside - Honestly, I thought your avatar was some type cartoon or something like. I didn't realize that was a real picture. Oops.

This is a cool thread. I send a pic in the next couple of days when hub can take a picture of me when I get ready for bed.

Huh? I would check with insurance directly. Never heard of that one before unless you have some weird insurance plan.
Heck, even Medicare pays for the Bella Swift FX and it is only $10 more online than the regular Swift FX. There are a lot more masks out there that cost a lot more.
Did she say which Mirage...There are several ResMed Mirage models and some of them cost a lot more than the Bella package. The one's that don't have a suggest retail in the neighborhood of the Bella package.
Sounds like the run around to me.

Should it be true...you can build your own from EBay replacement parts easily for less than $100.

If I don't like her answers, I can always order my own it looks like. I'll just have to save my pennies. I just don't see me being able to wear that. SHe said the Mirage would be light and even came in pink? Who knows. But I googled a Mirage and it's HUGE looking. Just over my nose my ass!! I think she's forgotten I'm severely claustrophobic. Grrrr.

While my life may seem like a cartoon at times, the picture was taken at the Bay of St. Jean on the island of St. Barts.

The Mirage fits over both your nose and ass? That's a hell of a mask!

Aww, ya'll stop picking on poor Max. He's one of the few to post a picture so he's a good egg in my book!!

Lazer, oh my. Funny how not putting one itty bitty comma in a sentence totally mucks it up, eh?

I think I need a princess bubble bath, booze and a funny movie. Hmm, maybe booze should be the first order of business.

Now you bums posting without pictures are gonna' get a loud *Bwack bwack* here in a minute!! Pony up the pictures!!

It all started with being @AbbyNormal on Twitter. My dad had recently died and it was one of our favorite movies to watch together. (He refused to get treatment for his apnea and he died of a heart attack at the age of 53.) I took the name for him, but also because I'm just about as unusual as a girl can get without being Cyndi Lauper. LOL

I guess after tomorrow I'll have to post yet another picture since I'll have new headgear. Jinkies.

I agree. This sounds like a run around. My DME told me that there is no such thing as small headgear for my Quattro FX mask. After I gave them the email from Resmed with the order number, they changed their story to they can't order it. I got it from another DME, and I am in the process of changing DMEs.

At my age, I should know better. The TDD reminds of the movie, "A Christmas Story," where Flick is triple-dog-dared, and put his tongue to the flag pole to find it stuck tight.

I know I had many more on my face alone. But atleast I got a split study and won't need to go in again.
Getting my CPAP machine was the best thing ever. I call her my BFF.

I have never heard that one. If her lips were moving, she may have been lying.

Don't have a photo to share yet. I want to get my hubby in it. The plan: both of us mask up and take the photo cheek to cheek!
Ahem! The facial cheek....not the other!
Love your humor!

Yes, the, "I triple dog dare you..." is indeed from A Christmas Story!!! I think yours wins so far, Poppi for being the most uncomfy looking of the day.

Cindy, I can't wait to see what you and your DH come up with!! I'm waiting on pins and needles over here! <3 <3 <3

If their lips were moving they were probably lying... *snickers* Good one! (now pony up a picture you cheee-kon!! Bwack bwack!! LOL
