Hmm. Well, we know that the Mr is happy with this added benefit. Hope the Mrs is equally pleased.
Congratulations. Sure wished it worked the same way for us women.

Yes, I've had quite the pleasant surprise on a few occasions since I've started my CPAP. My lucky surprises only happen during the wee morning hours on nights that I've succesfully slept at least 5 hours or more with my CPAP.

Lucky you! No such effect for me. Viagra, its cousins, testosterone - no help. I do miss the days when I could always rise to the occasion.

For males, sleep doctors should specifically ask about erections during sleep periods. We males are lucky in that erections during sleep signal a healthy sleep cycle in achieving REM sleep. REM sleep is usually impossible for apnea sufferers or any other sleep disorders. So if you are male and your sleep doctor didn't ask you this question then he really wasn't being thorough enough or was too embarrassed to ask which both reasons are inexcusable to me. I know when I was asked the question, the first thing I asked was why would you want to know that?

Is this something that is checked during the sleep studies?

...if so, I seem to have missed that part.

I have to admit that after a year on cpap I was reconsidering my choice of celibacy and have done some careful reconnoitring. Joined some social clubs but nothing worth mentioning has happened due to stressful family issues but the fantasy life has definitely gotten more "active".
