Hypopneas w/Arousal and my AHI: question!

Post by robysue » Sun Sep 19, 2010 4:27 pm

I'm a newbie with questions about my initial sleep study.

What's the difference between a "Hypopnea w/Desat" and a "Hypopnea w/Arousal"? And why weren't the "Hypopneas w/Arousal" counted in the "Apneas+Hypopneas" and "AHI" computation from my sleep study, but were counted in the "RDI" computation?

The respiratory data section of the sleep study report is shown below.

Code: Select all
