Strapparatus Is No Longer A Member Of CPAPtalk.com

Post by forumadmin » Wed Jun 02, 2010 4:09 pm

Howdy All,

As censorship and CPAPtalk.com don't mix, Strapparatus is no longer a member of CPAPtalk.com. I hope he will reconsider. Until then, apologies to all members who have a <Removed By Admin> or similar edit to their post.

I know he requested the image of one of his products be deleted from one of my posts this past weekend and I forwarded that to Carolyn Goodman asking her what to do. She deleted it and I thanked her for that.

I also know back when I posted that image that post was "spam deleted" by someone and I had contacted cpap.com about it. The post was back on the forum by the time I got an answer from them.

Now what else did I miss?

Hmmm, that piqued my curiosity.

Searching for "removed +by +admin" show that links to the no-longer-member's site have been removed from the posts of other members, especially in quotes.

So did someone fail to self-censor in a way that led others to censor him, or did someone censor others in a way that caused him to be censored, or did someone simply decide to lock himself up in his own purgatorial censory-deprivation chamber so he could sit around shunning himself? Or is this some sort of confusingly obscure non-conspiracy that may cause the Internet legal system to lock up and bring commerce to a grinding halt? Never mind. I think I just confused myself with my own rhetorical questions, and it's really none of my business anyway. Carbonman, if you understand any of this, send me a PM to explain it. It is sometimes hard for me to be entertained by things I am not equipped to understand. If this post shows up here, I'll assume I'm still a member of the hoserhood, with all the trappings and privilges that entails. Has anybody seen my pitchfork?

Thank you so much for hosting this forum, and keeping it exactly the way that it is!

This is a great group of people, with some really caring long time members that will go way above and beyond to help.

It is, by far, the best forum that I have ever seen. And the service that it provides can literally be lifesaving. This can be the only real help that some people have, even for those of use with resources, insurance, and good doctors.

Thanks to all here too!

Surprisingly, Jnk, you are right there at the end! How do you channel this stuff?

Basically, the Internet, in the form of some thin skinned human entity, does not like the fact that we have minds and that we are allowed to talk. They want us to stop talking.

I know you and I can receive the transmissions without a computer. But if they are forced to shut down the Internet, there are sone lesser beings who haven't evolved that far who will be left out in the coldness of space, drifting forever ... Or was that 2001?

I have said it before and will say it again - this is THE BEST forum on the Internet.

Johnny - you are light years ahead of others in your thoughts and style. Please endure.

We just want to know what was the violation in simple English, so we don't fall into the same problem even by accident
