CMS-50D+ Issues

I just acquired a CMS-50D+ Oximeter, but am having some troubles downloading. I can get the real time PC software running via the red "SpO2" Shortcut, but whenever I try to use the SpO2 Review software to do an actual download of saved data it gives me a "Can't open COM15 !" pop-up error.

I can use the real time software to save to a file, and then use the review software to review that file, but I can't seem to connect when I think I've save a file...

Anyone have any hints?

BTW, in case anyone is curious, it appears that the CMS cable has the USB to UART converter built-in --- it doesn't appear to be a normal USB cable. You would think they wouldn't use a mini-B on the device end then, wouldn't you? So much for following the USB standard...

Hmm, when I had that problem I couldn't run either green or red heart. IIRC I cleared it by removing and reinstalling the software and devices.

I do know that it doesn't like running both programs at the same time. Where/when do you get the error message?

I seem to remember somewhere that the reason for the proprietary cable was for FDA certification.

If someone knows how to help with this issue, please let me know. I can get everything going just fine on mine, but it pops up cannot open com 4 right after I go into the setup screen and enter all of my information. The real time part works fine, but I cant download data.

What operating system are you all using and version of software? The version of software I'm using is V0.982

It was passed around amongst our Atlanta CPAPtalk.com Group, no one had problems...

I am using vista and version 1.0 rc2. Thanks for the invite. Are these the same meetings that Muse-Inc has invited me to. I have wanted to go down but havent made it yet.

Yep, one and the same meeting. We meet the third Saturday of the Month. Next would be June 19.... The meeting is extremely beneficial

Sounds to me that the Manufacturer needs to update the driver.
