A few more newbie questions......

Post by sunchasers64 » Fri Mar 26, 2010 3:29 pm

Loving the forum. Lots of good information. I feel less helpless.

I'm on my 3rd week of being a hosehead. So far, so good. I've been reading on here the importance of having a data-capable machine, which I do not have. And being a technology geek, I would like the capability to see my numbers. If my DME were to upgrade my machine within the initial 30 days, I was wondering if I would have any insurance problems (currently with Cigna). Anyone have any problems upgrading before the 30 days? Did you have to pay an upgrade fee? My equipment was covered 100%. Also, I'm assuming the software and card reader would not be included with the machine. Where could I purchase these at a decent price if I were to upgrade?

Thanks, everyone!

I upgraded after 2 weeks from a S8 AutoSet II to a S9 AutoSet with no change in charge to me or the insurance company. I just had to sign paperwork showing details of the exchange.

I highly recommend the S9. For software and analysis, see the many useful posts on this Board.
