I rec'd mine today also------and had to call my brother who recommended it for further instructions.

It makes it easy to figure out, once you realize that the long velcro straps attached to the cap are for when you do not use the chin strap--in fact, you can cut them off if you do not intend to use them. The rest then seems to make sense.

Place the cap on your head. Attach the velcro on the cap firmly in back, below the occipital bones of your skull--that is the obvious ridge in your skull in back.

Pull the chin strap up and connect to your cap on the vertical stripes of velcro on the cap.

REmove the head gear from your four point mask--either nasal or full face.

Place the four loose velcro straps on the connections to your mask.

Then place the mask on your face, attaching the velcro pieces to your chin strap and the other velcro in front of the chin strap on the cap.

M brother swears by the papcap.........and I'm also anxious to try it for the first time tonight.

Here's 2 short videos. Hope they are helpful.

I would suggest putting it on in front of a mirror at 1st. Here's how I do it:

1. put the cap on your head--it will cover all your hair at your forehead. On me, it slightly overs my ears. The 2 straps will hang down at the sides of your neck. Cross them, with the left strap on on the bottom, and the right one crossing over it. The pokey velcro will be on the bottom, the soft velcro on top. As you cross them they will attach to each other. Adjust it so it's nice and snug, but not too tight. Then tuck in the center flap of fabric.

2. I don't use the chin strap, but the video shows how to do that.

3. If you want to wear your mask using the pap cap and chin strap, there are 4 sets of velcro straps that come with the papcap. Loop each of them through where the neoprene straps usually go--2 for the top, 2 for the bottom slots. The pokey side of the velcro will be towards your face, and stick to the papcap.

4. If you want to wear your mask without the chin strap, use the top slots in the same way, but then the 2 straps that you crossed over behind your head will come around to the front, and go into the 2 bottom slots of your mask.

I hope that makes sense.
