Where to buy Aircurve 10 ASV

Post by Kody » Sat Jul 29, 2023 7:59 pm

Hello, been renting my ResMed Aircurve 10 ASV since 2019 from Apria through Kaiser. My wife's company closed down and we will be loosing her insurance at the end of Aug and I would like to buy the same machine. Kaiser and or Apria won't convert the Rental to a Sale even though it's been paid for years ago. Have been between insurance before when she changed jobs and Apria gave me the run around and charged me big bucks saying it was still a rental etc. etc. I just want to get rid of Apria for good and buy one. Any recommendations for a reliable on-line store to buy? I know their very expensive and I don't want to get taken. Thanks very much in advance..

second wind is well regarded in the community. i've not dealt with them personally.

and boy howdy! they are, indeed, very expensive.

good luck!

You want to stay away from Apria.

Hopefully you know how to set your own pressures.

Also keep an eye on Craigslist under "Health and Beauty".

And even FB MarketPlace. FB also has several other places they sell cpap supplies.

Thanks I have delt with secondwind before and they are excellent. I actually have a backup old Remstar ASV I think it is that I bought from them that still works. I'd rather not go back to that model, but if I have to I will.

Yes I can set my own pressures, thanks a lot for the information and link and I agree Apria is not anyone's friend.

I've got a couple S9 ASV machines (VPAP Adapt 36037, which have the same treatment algorithm as the AC10 ASV) that are available, one extremely low hours.

Thanks everyone for your help with getting a new ASV machine. Looks like I'll be keeping the one I have for now as my wife is getting a new job with the same insurance so I won't have a lax in coverage. I appreciate your responses and comments. Thanks very much with everything!
