For years, I would get morning headaches, along with a stuffy nose, which pretty much made any cpap therapy of none effect. So one day, I went to Walmart and purchased at wedge pillow (7" inches). Pretty much eraticated the situation.
However over the years, 7" inches high has become a bit much. Recently, I donated it to the thrift store.
Now, the morning headaches have returned. along with the stuffy nose.
Any suggestions as what I can do in term of some type of wedge, or the like, that would have rid the morning headaches, along with the stuffy nose?
Then my cpap therapy can resume.
Thanks in advance,
Starlette

Re: Pillow Wedge
I don't know the height of my wedge, but I fell in love with the Medcline pillow system. It's a wedge plus body pillow. They sell them in sizes based on your height. The 'shoulder relief' wedge is lower than the one sold for 'reflux relief'. There's a cutout in the wedge for the downside arm. Pretty comfortable once you get used to it. Keeping your arm or elbow in the cutout helps keep you from sliding off the wedge. I find I can position my head on the wrap-around body pillow in a way that doesn't interfere with my mask too much. I'd buy it again just for that pillow. Previously I used a plain wedge and regular pillow. Pricey, but it works for me.

Re: Pillow Wedge
I can't say this will prevent morning headaches and nasal congestion because I don't know that the wedge was the factor that was preventing them. However, you can buy bed risers to raise the head of your bed. https://www.amazon.com/s?k=bed+risers&c ... _sb_noss_1 With the risers, you will need to think about what you do when traveling.
You don't say how long your wedge pillow was. Maybe it was too short; most wedge pillows are. They make your body bend at the stomach or even higher. This can cause comfort problems and even worsen reflux. The solution is to get a wedge pillow that reaches your hips. The Medslant pillow ( https://www.medslant.com/medslant-big-m ... ux-pillow/ ) is the best on the market. It is 31 inches long. You can sleep on your back or sides because your torso doesn't bend. Again, you would need to think about what to do if you travel.
On the other hand, are you sure your machine settings are still optimized?

Re: Pillow Wedge
It's good the wedge was able to help you with the stuff nose, but I wonder whether you can do some things to address the problem in your nose.
Have you ever been tested for allergies? Have you ever tried nasal rinses (e.g., Nealmed)? And have you ever tried Flonase before bed?
